Audubon Sanctuary Golf Course Designation

In concert with Kedron Dells Golf Course’s declared and posted Mission Statement regarding Environmental Stewardship, we have joined the Audubon Society to develop KDGC into a Certified Audubon Sanctuary golf course with International Recognition. To achieve this prestigious designation with its implied acknowledgement of environmental excellence and leadership in conservation projects, we will address five key environmental areas: Wildlife and Habitat Management, Chemical Use Safety and Reduction, Water Conservation, Water Quality Management and Outreach & Education.

On Wednesday April 22nd, 03.00 p.m., we have scheduled an information meeting at the clubhouse. We welcome the golfing community, members, employees and associates of KDGC, environmental advocates and the general public.  The meeting will provide an overview of the program, the “milestones” that have to be reached to gain accreditation and the benefits accruing to the Environment, KDGC and the community. We welcome your input as the ultimate success of the program depends on your support.
